Inpatient Peace-of-Mind Insurance is a short-term accident protection plan specifically designed for hospitalized patients, providing coverage for unexpected incidents and medical-related risks that may arise during hospitalization. The coverage begins at the time of admission and extends until 24:00 on the day of discharge, offering comprehensive protection throughout the inpatient stay.

The insurance offers four plan options — Standard Plan, Premium Plan, Senior Plan A, and Senior Plan B — tailored to different age groups (up to 80 years old) and protection needs. The policy covers medical expenses and disability caused by drug allergies or medical accidents, unexpected in-hospital death (non-terminal cases), and death from legally defined infectious diseases. It also provides compensation for common inpatient incidents such as fractures from falls, esophageal foreign objects, suffocation, and other sudden, external, and non-disease-related injuries — with 90% of eligible medical expenses reimbursed.

Coverage amounts range from RMB 3,000 to RMB 120,000, depending on the selected plan. For individuals aged 0–59, the Standard and Premium Plans are available at an annual premium of RMB 100–150. For those aged 60–80, Senior Plan A and B are available at RMB 150–200.
